How To Decrease Aggressive Behavior In Your Dog

Here’ s a few ideas you can use the decrease aggression in your dog.

* First, make sure your dog obeys the “Come” command.

* Then: practice the “Come” command while there’s another dog in the distance. It’s best to keep him on an extending leash while you’re doing this so you still have control over him.

* Reward your dog if he doesn’t show any signs of aggression.

* Each time your practice this successfully, decrease the distance between your dog and the other dog. Reward your dog for not showing aggression.

* If you come across a potentially aggressive situation, you should attract your dog’s attention with his favorite toy, and then command him to sit.
